I am so flippin’ excited!! As if processing 25 portrait sessions, preparing to lecture photographers on album design at Golden Gate School of Professional Photography, living in the whirlwind of a 2 year old, and running a successful business… My new wedding photography website went live yesterday!!!! It is so fun to see wedding images from so many of my clients, and you should go check it out because some of the images got a whole new treatment that you have never seen… I love everything about weddings and wedding photography – the amazing details, flowers of our wildest dreams, succulent meals, sweetest ever wedding cakes, friends, family, love drama (rarely…!), exquisite wedding dresses, handsome formal wear, cultural traditions, music, dancing, and all around good times!!! I think it shows in this new website showcase… if you know of anyone who is getting married, please send them to look at the site! There are great ideas, wonderful recommended vendors, and hopefully I will get to capture their wedding day memories and preserve them for the rest of their lives!! Oh, I am so excited!! Our brand new kids photography website launched today, and you can check it out at Mill Cottage Kids.com, and I know I promised a contest… as you watch the slideshow on the home page, the last slide before it re-starts doesn’t have an image on it, just a graphic and some words. The first 5 people to tell me what 1970′s pop culture reference that slide is inspired by will get a complimentary family session!!! (some restrictions apply – see fine print below) Use the contact form on the website, or email me directly at kim@millcottagephoto.com to submit your guess! You must include your contact information (name, email, address, phone number) with your guess so we can notify you if you are among the winners. Free Session means that our usual $275 creation fee is waived. No images or prints are included in the prize, and are available for purchase at regular a la carte or collection prices. Session scheduling is subject to availability, weekday sessions only (upgrade to a weekend session time for $150), San Carlos Studio, or choose one of 3 outdoor session locations: 1. China Beach, SF 2. Golden Gate Park, SF, or 3. Twin Pines Park, Belmont. Other outdoor locations may be available based on travel distance, please inquire about specific locations when you confirm your prize. Family session is good for up to 5 members of the same immediate family. Additional family members may be added for $50 each. Mill Cottage Photography reserves the right to declare the end of the contest once the 5 winners have been notified. shhhhhh….. It’s almost finished! The brand new website for our children’s portraiture work!!! We have put a lot of heart and soul into this one, and a lot of our clients’ adorable faces! Look for a special announcement and a contest coming by October 15, 2008!

Happy New Year!! We have been so busy through the holiday season, and now are enjoying a welcome break! Meeting with new couples about their wedding plans and photographing new babies fill most of the days that I am not hanging out with Josh.

Josh is 10.5 months old, and is growing like a weed! He has his own website!

Speaking of websites, Mill Cottage Photography finally received a much needed update to include some new images from last year! These are a few of my favorites, and there will be more to come! Stay tuned to the blog and the website to see our exciting new portrait products.
