<div>You know how you go and stop in the silly tourist things, and plunk around in there? Well, this image made me so glad we stopped. Genoa, Nevada &#8211; the oldest settlement in Nevada &#8211; and has a nice park with some historic things to see. Josh decided to get a job cooking on the wagon train. I was just amazed at the light coming in from the side, and grabbed my camera to capture this one. Just a kiss of on camera bounced fill flash and some Cottage Industry Lightroom Pre-sets, and here it is&#8230; </div>
<p>

<p>
<div>I am grateful that Josh enjoys himself as I photograph him. You really can&#8217;t tell kids this age to pose, but we always manage to capture so good stuff&#8230;</div>

<div>Big Thanks to Ray&#8217;s sister, Caroline, for her wonderful birthday gift to her brother!!! There&#8217;s not another place we would have rather been this weekend than our beloved Mill Cottage. Yes, it is an actual place&#8230; not just some place I created in my mind. Spent the weekend there with Ray and Josh, and enjoyed the pouring rain from the fireplace warmed comfy living room. We read, ate great food, had good wine, and Josh got to see our magical place for himself and explore (read: eat) everything he could get his hands on. One of these days I&#8217;ll tell you all about the story of the Mill Cottage, but for now, here&#8217;s Josh! </div>
